NASA Space Center Houston
Students will explore Space Center Houston, where they will learn about the history of space exploration, see actual artifacts from the Apollo missions, and experience interactive exhibits that showcase the future of space technology. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in a robotics workshop, where they can work with experts to learn the principles behind robotics.
Spanish-American Historical Sites
Visit San Antonio’s renowned historical landmarks, including the Alamo, San Fernando Cathedral, and Spanish Governor’s Palace. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the Texas Revolution, Spanish colonial architecture, and how the early settlers shaped Texas' identity.
Cultural Immersion in San Antonio
Students will experience the unique blend of Spanish, Mexican, and American cultures that define San Antonio. From the River Walk to sampling authentic Texan and Mexican cuisine, this city offers a rich cultural experience that reflects the fusion of multiple histories.

Sample Itinerary
Arrive in Houston, Texas, and check into the hotel. After settling in, enjoy a welcome dinner followed by a visit to the Houston Museum of Natural Science for an introduction to the city's scientific contributions.
Begin the day at NASA’s Space Center Houston, where students will participate in a full day of exploration. Highlights include tours of the Space Shuttle Independence, the Mission Control Center, and the Astronaut Gallery. Students will also engage in a hands-on robotics workshop with engineers, gaining insight into the technology used in space missions.
Explore Houston's Museum District with a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts and the Houston Holocaust Museum. Learn about the city’s rich cultural diversity and historical significance in the world of art and science. Afterward, visit the Downtown Aquarium or take a riverboat tour along the Buffalo Bayou to learn more about the city's history.
Travel to San Antonio and check into your hotel. The evening is free for a stroll along the San Antonio River Walk, which offers picturesque views of the city’s Spanish-inspired architecture, shops, and restaurants. Students can enjoy dinner along the river and get a sense of the city’s vibrant cultural life.
Start the day with a visit to the Alamo, where students will gain insights into one of the most pivotal moments in Texas’ history. They’ll learn about the Texas Revolution and the battle that made the Alamo a symbol of resistance. Later, visit the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, home to several Spanish colonial missions that reflect the region’s colonial heritage and the role of Catholic missionaries in the settlement of Texas.
Visit the San Fernando Cathedral, one of the oldest cathedrals in the U.S., and the Spanish Governor's Palace, a historic building that once served as the administrative center for Spanish Texas. Students will also tour Mission San José, which has been beautifully restored to showcase its original design. These landmarks will provide valuable context to the Spanish colonial period.
Explore more of San Antonio’s cultural offerings, including a Texan BBQ lunch and a visit to the Texas State Museum to learn about the region's blend of Spanish, Native American, and Anglo cultures. In the afternoon, head back to the River Walk for more exploration, or visit local artisan shops to see Texas-made crafts.
Before heading to the airport, students will have the opportunity to visit El Mercado, the largest Mexican market in the U.S., for last-minute shopping and souvenirs. Afterward, reflect on the educational journey and depart for the airport to head home.
